Percy Fortini-Wright is an American artist who received his BFA at the Art Institute of Boston and MFA from Lesley College of Art and Design. During the
late 1990’s, becoming a technician of wildstyle graffiti letters, tags and bubble letters while simultaneously evolving as a traditional painter. Best known
for his dreamy street scenes, portraits and abstractions – combining oil and spray paint. Exhibiting both nationally and abroad within the public and private
spheres; creating large and small-scale paintings boldly pushing beyond..
He spends his nights fishing Cape Cod and tackling the urban landscape constantly driving from one place to another in the wee hrs of the am. His
recent subject relates to his nightly driving patterns. Through his command of depth and perspective, using the spray can and brush, Fortini-Wright
melds gritty elements of the streets into his fine art foundations.
